how can i make my sony ericsson c903 to never ask me to open the lens cover...

...whenever i use the camera? my phone is a bit older and it asks me to open the lens cover whenever i open the camera even lens cover is already opened.i think it is due to casing fault or sensor type fault. just tell me how to permanently remove it so that my camera work without opening or closing lens cover.thanks
