how can i persuade my parents into getting me a smartphone?

i havnt had a phone for 6 months and my contact finally expired. i asked for one and my mom sed no because it was to expensive to pay for internet. i offered to get a job on saturday after noons to pay it off. they still say no becuase they see how my friends are basically addicted to being on their phones now cuz of internet. how can i convince them i wont be like that. or overall just convince them.
 
I am addicted to my husbands phone...he has a smart phone...and I want one now. I think you probably would be on it a lot at first... I would ask them what would make them change their minds...like what could you do... tell them that certain times like maybe during supper you would leave your phone in your room or something....and that you would do some kind of extra chore to help out. I dont know how old you are, so I cant say as a parent if I would give you a smart phone cause it depends on how mature you are too... Hope your parents give in if it what you really want though...and do your part so they can trust you!
 
just be responsible. im 13 and i have just a basic fone but i have to pay for my bill.I DONT EVEN HAVE A JOB! but if pay for it ur self (cost of the fone+ bill ) then its urs and ur parrents cant tell u cant have it. dont go on the computer all the time. spend less time on electronics and more time with ur family and ur parents will for sure let u get one! ;) hope that helped?
