how can i power a portable handheld tool with 240 v?

i need to power a handheld soldering iron thats cordless. i know they make butane ones, but i need a ceramic tip. it looks like im going to need some sort of step up transformer inside to get 240 volts. i cant find any small enough though. any ideas or help would be much appreciated.
