...but no software disk or inst.CD? how can i transfer pictures from my Motorola L6 to computer? i have usb wire but no software disk or installation CD?

The software you have to buy as I'm sure you know. Find someone who has a motorola and borrow the installation CD if you can. Otherwise, you can just download a free copy through torrents. Quick and painless.
The last resort would be to just email yourself all the photos. Just send the pics as a picture message to your email address.

Edit: The only files you'll online for the phone is a USB driver to use the phone as a modem on your PC. It'll tell you you'll have to pay for the software you need to connect your phone to your PC to be able to transfer files.

Just connect your phone to your PC wit the USB. It copies pics automatically.

Go to Motorola's website and look up downloads for your L6 camera they should have the right software that is downloadable on their site
