How can Wal-Mart sell prescriptions for $4.00 and still make a profit?

Does this mean $80 prescriptions are over priced by $76. If they can make a profit by selling $4 prescription and Pharmacies else where are charging $80 isn't this kind of stupid! I don't take prescription meds but I do see something wrong with this. My Mom receives her meds from CVS, and they will honor Wa-Marts price of $4. but she has to mention it or else they will charge her $80. How stupid is this? Overpriced and outta their minds. What a scam!
