My dutch doe has been spayed for over 6 months, and she has always been a solo house rabbit. We have tried mixing her with other rabbits, male or female, neutered or not, to try and get her to bond and have a friend but she hasn't. Normally she just attacks them, I don't mean the normal kind of thing you get when you are introducing two rabbits to each other. She has seemed happier on her own, but recently she has started becoming aggressive towards our cats. We've seen her waiting in the cage and then running the length of the room to go and attack them, today I Ieft the room for a moment and came back in to find what looked like her mounting a cat. Our rabbit has never been aggressive to either myself or my husband and will quite often come to us for cuddles. When she is being stroked she makes a soft, happy, chattering noise. We want to let her have exercise out of her cage as she can get stressed if left in there all day. She doesn't seem to want to mix with other rabbits and we can't punish the cats by shutting them out, whilst she is out of her cage. What can we do?
