How can you get confidence and prediction intervals from ANOVA output only?

Hi-

I'm trying to figure out how to build confidence and prediction intervals from ANOVA tables and parameter estimates from JMP.

I know how to do these by hand (when I'm given a data set) but I don't know where to find most of the information in the tables... and tomorrow I have a midterm where I'll be given a sheet of JMP output and have to "interpret" it. Most of the problems involve simple linear regression.

I've been able to "create" an estimated linear regression from the output (using the parameter estimates for slope and intercept), and so I've been able to find point estimates for Yp.

I can find the right t - we're allowed to use charts on the exam - so part of the margin of error is taken care of.

But...........

I have NO CLUE how to come up with the standard deviation of Yp (for confidence intervals) or the standard deviation of individual values of Yp (for prediction intervals). Or rather, I have no idea where to find them / how to get them from an ANOVA table or parameter estimates from JMP.

I'm sorry if this hasn't been very clear - I don't know how to type the correct symbols in, and I'm a little frazzled. Any help or advice would be very-very much appreciated.

Thanks!
