How come I am having dreams of war flashbacks, even though they aren't mine.?

My grandpa was in Vietnam and my Dad is currently serving in the US Army right now and I been having dreams lately where I been in combat or something and its been through the eyes of either my grandpa in Vietnam or my Dad in Afghanistan/Iraq. I'm confused about this and I am wondering what its about.
