How come I have premonitions of what will happen but can't stop them from happening?

Is it just unnattentiveness? carelessness? or can't I stop fate?

Or just a good guesser?

Estimate what may happen and it happens?

Could it be that the circumstances surrounding this event are being repeated, or so similar, that you see it building up to what you predict. People
who are not alike, often react in the same way to circumstances.

If someone yells fire, almost every one can be predicted to react similarly.
If someone hollers "duck" people react pretty much the same.

If you are talking about the same people and similar events, that may explain it.
Maybe you are a person observer. You watch people's reactions, study people, know alot about human nature, etc.

Well, humans generally have a good sense of cause-and-effect. For example, if you didn't study for that exam tomorrow, you're probably going to fail it. There's nothing you can do if you've only started cramming the day before.

Really though, the only reason why you can see what will happen but cannot stop it from happening is because generally, by the time it's so obvious you can see it, it's probably too late for anyone to do anything about it. Don't blame yourself too much.
