How come Jesus Christ is illogical?

I'm pretty sure that historical documents have proven that Jesus Christ existed...

however, the Bible says that in order to get to Heaven, you have to believe that Jesus is God's Son and accept him as your savior... However, there are people in third-world countries who are NEVER EVEN told who Jesus is. So, they have no chance of going to Heaven?? that seems illogical.
punch, i am a STUDENT of LOGIC, and have a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science with Minors in Mathematics and Creative Writing... so dont go there.

i can PROVE that God exists, through logic.
David, i think you have Jesus mixed up with God.. GOD created everything from nothing, NOT Jesus.
ht, you're right, i don't know for sure that people in third-world countries never learn who Jesus is.. however, with there being soooo many people, and soooo many villages that have never been visited by Western cultures, that it only seems logical that there are many.
Byhisgrace, you don't sound like a Christian.. you sound like a poor angry man who is following a book that was written thousands of years ago... good luck with that. :)

If you are so concerned, then become a missionary!

Remember, you are either part of the solution (i.e. you have asked God to forgive you of your sins and you are now doing your part to reach others), or you are still part of the problem.

It's hypocrisy to whine and complain about a problem when you're causing it!

God is fair. Nobody will be in hell who doesn't deserve to be, and anybody who DOES go there will know precisely why, and there will be no room for arguments.

But if they go to hell because you didn't tell them, then you will suffer with them - their blood will be on YOUR hands!

there are church groups who attempt to teach people about jesus, and even if they die they get a chance in the afterlife to accept jesus, its not just over when you die

I'm not sure illogical is the best word for this. Sick, evil, arbitrary, uncaring, twisted, all seem like better candidates to describe christian beliefs.

i don't want to tell you the wrong thing, but i'll try to explain it.
okay, well.. let's say a baby was born & die before they can even talk..
if they don't have the knowledge of Jesus Christ, than they will go to heaven. it's not their fault that they didn't know.

but, for the people in third-world countries who have never heard of him, are at fault. they were born with a conscience. you know God exists from birth. so, they decide to worship something else is their problem.

it's very confusing, but just read the bible & you'll know :)
& don't say God is illogical.

You are a smart dude indeed. But people who never heard of him who are good at heart will go to heaven. They never heard of Jesus why should they go to hell?People who reject Jesus will not go to heaven or if you don't repent.

You sir have logic because jesus was the most documented person in the world. He has the most songs, followers,he is the most famous person in the world. His resurrection was listed the most important event in HUMAN HISTORY.You are an idiot if you deny the facts.

How could one expect a concoction that has been built, torn down and rebuilt by man for man to remain logical? Our Gods overlap in precepts, concepts and properties, yet we all claim that ours is the only true one. If this is so then why does anyone's God share attributes with others gods? The Pagan gods of 10,000 B.C. demanded animal sacrifices, then it follows that this is a precept for those to follow to lend credibility to the god that they create. Everyone knows this is expected of a god. In the Gospel of Phillip it reads, "with all these people creating gods, maybe the gods should worship the people". What is logical about the spilling of innocent blood of animals (God's creation to atone for sin), or the spilling of God's son's blood to atone for sins? Is it logical to believe that God wants the Muslims to kill all infidels? Religion does not make sense or logic as it is presented. It is a fabrication of divinity by man which is not understanding. Dogma and doctrines kill, not God.

3,000 years Jewish people stated that Yahweh never changes and that one had to sacrifice animals for atonement. Then 3,000 years later Jesus comes along who Jews don't even accept as their messiah with evidence why, and now all of a sudden Jewish concepts are no longer valid. But Yahweh God never changes.

Christians then use a sacrifice Deity whose death is controversial to claim that they don't have to keep the laws.

Is it not logical that if God never changes as clearly stated in Malachi 3:6 that means God never changes and that we are supposed to keep his law?

So why do Christians teach that the law is done away with?

If I could get a Jewish elder to help me sacrifice an animal to Yahweh as described in the Old Testament I would. God never changes and Malachi 3:6 proves it.

Do you really think you are the first person to ask this question?
God doesn't care about your SELF PROCLAIMED LOGIC. He isn't about that. Stop trying to analyze Him.
Jesus Christ is God Almighty. If you don't know Him, (which is apparent that you don't), you certainly can't explain Him with worldly "logic."
Jesus said, "I know My sheep, and My sheep hear My voice." WE KNOW HIM. WE BELONG TO HIM. DON'T TELL US WHO HE IS. WE ALREADY KNOW WHO HE IS. HE IS OUR GOD!!!

Please Read the Book of John. Especially the first chapter. It tells who Jesus is. Then read Revelation 1:7,8. Jesus tells you exactly who He is. There are other verses also, but these in particular tell us who He is.
As far as third world countries hearing about Jesus, why do you think He is waiting to come back? He said, "AND THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM WILL BE PREACHED IN ALL THE WORLD AS A WITNESS TO ALL THE NATIONS, AND THEN THE END WILL COME."
Matt.24:14
Why do you think Christians are always telling people about Jesus??? It's called the GREAT COMMISSION. Jesus commanded us to go forth into all the world and tell the good news. That's what we've been doing for 2,000 years!!
Where have you been?

I'm not angry. Just getting my point across. I don't need you to tell me who Jesus is, especially when you don't know.
If someone offends you and what you believe, do you just sit there and take it, or do you STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE? That is what I am doing. I'm a Christan, not a whimp! And who said I'm a man?

Faith is illogical in that it does not use any of our human senses and not validated in our human reality. The Bible states all will hear the Word of God in this life or when Jesus returns - so, all be be told if not before there physical death then when He returns. Logical? Nothing about faith is really logical that is why it is called faith. Continue to study the Bible and to ask questions. Glad you are asking questions - the only way we can learn and increase our spiritual journey here on earth.

read the Bible there are versus that refer to people who never knew Christ having Gods laws written on their hearts. He isn't illogical! Don't blame God for the blinders on your eyes or the callousness of your heart!

Romans 1 says that everyone is without excuse. Jesus is God, and Jesus WILL get the truth to EVERYONE that wants it, no matter who they are, no matter where they are. Jesus created everything from nothing, so this is no problem for Him. Nothing is impossible for Him.

I used to be a missionary in the Middle East and to people from the jungles of South America, two places that people often use for your wrong argument. And you know what? I was preaching to them, others were preaching to them, and there were Baptist churches around too. So your line of reasoning is wrong.

We're all sinners. Only JESUS is acceptable PAYMENT for our sins. All the good deeds in the world won't pay for even ONE of our sins.

Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead. That is why Jesus had to die on the cross, because there is no other way for us to be saved. You must believe in Jesus alone for salvation, to be saved. That simple.

Either Jesus already paid for a person's sins, or that person will pay for their sins in eternal torment in hell. That is the choice before everyone.

Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).

The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you will be in heaven, no matter what!

Please pray now: "Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and You rose from the dead. Thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die! :D
