...one complains? But heaven forbid if its a woman!

I'm watching the local news and the women anchors are slim and trim and the men are out-of-shape or simply obese.

Oh get off it. Women worship thin female celebrities, and perpetuate the same stereotype that they all hate so much. Also, don't forget the heavy female celebs like Oprah.

Are these women kidding? Male celebrities who are fat are called portly? They always call themselves fat. It's a running joke throughout all the sitcoms. The guy is always a fat guy. Women who are fat are always called curvy or thick.

Not to mention all the big names are still super fit guys. Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp? And all the commercials about shaving are super buff guys when all we need to see is their face. Women need to get off this subject because it's a two way street, and men don't complain.

Thats the way it is, also its more acceptable for men to be comedians if a guy and girl tell the same joke the guy will get more laughs.

Because of Gender Norms,

Women are supposed to look slim and slender all the time D:

because men are not sex objects. they're worth is measured by skills, power, humor, and intelligence. women on the other hand, only need looks to get by and it's really a shame.

Women judge other women and are all caddy about weight.
Men couldn't care less about other men.

You're right. If it's a man, he's called "portly", but if it's a woman, she's just called plain old "FAT". Not fair, is it?

because men will watch a pretty anchor just because she's reading the news

whereas women don't care as much about how the person reading the news looks

why are most female TV meteorologists attractive?
