How come the Libs loved the term "Dubya" (Bush's middle initial), but whine...

...when Hussein is used for Obama? Why do they want to avoid any use of Obama's muslim middle name? Are they ashamed of it? Are they hypocrites by any chance?
Hussein is going to be a one term president, and the last one who is unable to provide proof of his citizenship.
 
You've questioned all Liberals in the United States, have you? Upon what is the assumption that "Libs" are the ones who "loved" calling GW "Dubya" (which was started by Texas-based news columnist Molly Ivins, by the way) based? Another nickname for GW was "Shrub"---as in the weaker version of Bush...is that in your sights as well? And "whine"...just how is it that "Libs" as you assume the people who correct the attempt to tie President Barack Hussein Obama through name with Saddam Hussein (Hussein meaning "blessed by God," by the way) might be could be said to be "whining" if they make constructive changes to attempted vitriolic propaganda? GW, or "Dubya" as you seem likely to call our former nation-destroying president, liked to nickname people without their permission, calling advisor Karl Rove "turd blossom"---did you object? A rose by any other name can still smell as sweet, one assumes. Since President Obama's middle name is actually Hussein (and many of us do feel he is actually "blessed by God"), there may not be as many of us Democrats "whining" as your query suggests.
 
Alright, so let's look at the two names independently.

"Dubya" is meant to demean. It's more of a name that's supposed to make Bush look stupid rather than anything else. The connotation is with a hick in Texas, but it's not dangerous. The idea is just to make fun of him.

"Hussein" may be Obama's middle name, but the connotation of people using it all the time has a different impact. This name is used to associate with Saddam Hussein the former leader of Iraq, who killed off many of his own people and made dangerous threats toward the U.S. This insinuates that Obama is not just a Muslim, but a terrorist and dangerous to this country.

There's a massive difference there, all it takes is a short look.
 
Because libs used "Dubya" to make Bush seem like a dumb hick, which he wasn't, and We use "hussein" to make uncle bobo seem like an America hating Muslim, which he is.
 
yeah they have no problem using his first name which is very muslim, which happens to be the name of the horse that muhammad rode on.
 
"Dubya" was used by EVERYONE. That was a nickname that his own family used and started. Wow. This does not even need to be researched it is common knowledge.

Bush has even referred himself as Dubya. Seriously, are you that clueless about this?
 
I think its more that Bush's family called him W.Its was what they called him instead of Jr or Georgie or what ever.
When people call Obama Hussein its to try to make him look like a terrorist.

The current President's father was also President George Bush. This one is George W. Bush, so he is nicknamed "Dubya (W)" to differentiate him from his father.

The W is for Walker.
