Consultant...? Hello Everyone,

I have recently been thinking a lot about starting a consultation business. I feel that it could be done but with a lot of planning. I have been reading a lot about consulting and there are no real boundaries but it helps if you are well-versed in your field. I, myself, have many years of knowledge about nutrition & fitness and feel that people would benefit from my advice and motivation. I am a new mom that has another area of expertise now and that is losing weight and being healthy after having a baby. The added pressure of being a mother along with taking care of yourself is A LOT of hard work. There seems like there's never enough time for anything.

Well, I plan on getting my CPR and First Aid. But I don't have any real education in this field. Nothing that I can show a diploma for at least. But I don't feel like it's impossible I just have to be strategic. There is a fitness association that is Canadian called Can Fit Pro and it offers different "quick" courses and if you pass you get a certificate and can become a member of this association.
Now I wouldn't mind getting a Wellness & Nutrition Specialist (that's what the course is titled) certificate from an accredited reputable company.

What do you guys think?

Along with all this I am also working on a questionnaire that I would give to people for a free consultation. I would take a look at their goals and so forth to come up with a program for them.

Thank you for your help.
