How do I activate a T-Mobile Zest 2 Pay as you Go phone?

So I bought them to use in London but I can't figure out how to make them work.
They turn on and all that but I can't call and it just says "No Network".
And I can't use My T-Mobile because I can't figure out my phone number.
HELP
