How do I add music to my LG Ally?

I just got my new phone today and I'm trying to figure out how to add music to it. I've read online I need to put my sd card out of my phone, into my computer, but there isn't a place for it. If I plug my phone into my computer using the USB cord, it says I need a disk... but one doesn't come with my phone. Any ideas? /:
