how do i assign ringtones for individual contacts?

I want to assign specific ringtones for my different contacts, how do i do this?
on a pantech laser

go to your contacts, pick the contact you want to assign the ringtone to, then, there should be an edit button, click it.. it should say ringtone somewhere and click on that and pick the song and save.

Stevie, for one your a jackass, if youre going to respond, why dont you actually try and help people.

BeccaLynn, use the pc Suite to copy all of your contacts to your 'Phone' from your 'Sim'
Then go to the Contacts->view contacts from....and select phone only
That way you wont see duplicates but all contacts are on the sim too in case you drop the phone in the toilet.

You can only assign pictures/ringtones and all the fancy jazz to contacts stored on your phone
