How do I bargain for a later curfew with my mother?

My curfew is currently 1am give or take a half hour. This means by default no clubbing or trips out of the area unless I am staying with a relative or someone they "approve". Usually my bf and I spend the day together when I visit because we rarely see each other imo (once a week). Why can't I spend the night at my bf (of nearly half a year)house its not like we are having sex or anything!? Btw, I am 23 he is 24 (2/12). Lol.

To make matters worse, I never really had an official curfew until I got a bf. My parents will say they let me have my liberties when in fact they are very restrictive. My parents even lock the door so that I am aware its "late". Everywhere I go I tell them when I am going and even have to often ask. I am a "good" daughter, always have been--I never snuck out before, I dont drink/smoke, I am drug and disease free a virgin college educated and active in church etc. so I am not sure why they will not allow me to occassionally spend the night with a friend or bf. Please help.

As for MOVING out, TRUST me I plan to do so. As soon as I have enough money to afford it when the weather gets better, I intend to move. I lost my job in November and have to pay off some debts. Unfortunately, I dont believe in living with someone I am not married to (my bf). My mother says the only thing open past 2pm is legs and liquor stores! LOL....how do I get them to change? I have adhered to the rules all but ONCE and apologized. Help.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA LMAO @ LEGS AND LIQUOR STORES... that is a clever one.

But honestly... your parents need to have more trust in you. A 23 year old woman...... if they don't trust you.. then they don't trust themselves and the way they've raised you.

Or perhaps its your boyfriend who isn't trusted?

Often times, too much restrictions on a person will cause them to rebel and go about doing the wrong things!
