...read it. Works only on mine? I have a ppt that incorporates movie clips. My system is AVI and I have what I have been told is a codec divx. The audio/visual slide show performs as desired on my computer, but when I play the disc on another computer, it doesn''t work --- no visual and/or audio! I have a disc that has downloaded on it a divx Nero 9 installer and I have my ppt. How do I put these two together so that the CD will work on another computer that doesn't have AVI and divx? I also have a Nero Express. I tried dragging the divx icon into the window of the Nero Express but it wouldn't receive it -- the dvix icon, once its inside the Express window, turns into a 1/4 inch black circle with a diameter line inside. HELP!!!!!

1. Make sure you burn the video files on the CD too. You cannot just simply put the PPT file on there. The video files need to be in the same folder as the PPT file is on the CD.

2. On the computer you are playing it on, DIVX codec needs to be installed. You can do this by going to the DIVX website and downloading the codec from there.

If doing step 2 above isn't possible on the other computer, I would recommend converting the divx files into WMV files so that they will play on any windows computer without installing any software. To do this, download Windows Media Encoder. It's free software from Microsoft that will convert your files to WMV files.

Follow the instructions above and your videos will work fine.
