How do I change my entire screen on the internet?

The screen on the front page and all the pages I view are huge! How can I change it to normal size? Then all the information will be there and I don't have to use the scroll bar to read accross from one side to the other. I want to be able to change it a few times until I decide.
 
All you have to do is press Ctrl and the - key (minus)... then if u want it bigger press Ctrl then + (plus)
