How do i change the banner on my Samsung R355C Straight talk phone?

I recently bought this phone and i wanted to know how to change the banner from "Home" to what ever i want it to be.

Also, i have it activated and charging, but the only way i can get it to turn on is by unplugging and plugging back in the charger/
HELP ME PLEASE!!
