How do I connect 2 RAZRs via bluetooth?

I have a 1.5 year old T-Mobile RAZR V3, and although I make one of the RAZRs discoverable and "search for devices", I can never get either to find the other RAZR. And so I'm really confused, because it shouldn't be this hard. I need help.
I have them right next to each other, both have bluetooth on, and i set one to discoverable, and one on the search. Yet, they don't recognize each other.
 
Make sure both of them have the bluetooth on, use one to search and if it asks for a pin code just press 0000...
They'll detect each other faster if you put them close to each other...
