So I have this problem that I have been troubled with for ages ever since I got my phone.
First off, my current location is in the Philippines and my service provider is Smart Telecom and my mobile unit is Nokia 6300. I have already activated the service feature and received the message confirming that my "videocall, highspeed internet, & videomail are now activated." Also, i have already followed the instructions when i was prompted to reply with 1234 and saved the settings when i received them.
And so i head now to Menu > Web > Go to address, and then type in a web address. But all i got was this message: "Packet Data Connection Not Available." The same thing happens in all other areas of trying to connect to the internet such as logging in to my Instant Messenger.
I have already done and redone these steps 3 times, starting from scratch once again when it fails. But I still get the same result. Am I missing something? What else do I need to do? Can anyone help inform me with a comprehensive instruction?
Thanks.
By the way, I have also already looked it up and done my share of googling a bazillion times, found lots of similar cases, but none has provided an effective solution and none worked to resolve this problem. Most of the suggestions instructed the same thing that I have already done. I hope there is someone out there who is an expert and knows about this stuff really well and can help me.
