How do I deal with this?

Well, I know Small Talk isn't a place for grieving, but I'm sure some of you have gone through what I am going through.

My best friend, since Kindergarten, passed away today. He got hopped up on some pills and shot himself.

I feel almost unbelievably shitty at this second. Here's the real kicker, I'm married to his sister. Christy ( my wife, his sister) woke me up this morning at 4 A.M, crying histarically, at the time I could barely understand, all I heard was, John, *tears* dead.

So, ST, I ask of you, how do I help her and myself through this?

Um he didn't pass away...he killed himself one the most selfish things a person can do. Its an aweful thing to go through, this year my Great Uncle Killed himself and 6 weeks later by Mom's brother did the same
