How do I deal with this?

Well, I know Small Talk isn't a place for grieving, but I'm sure some of you have gone through what I am going through.

My best friend, since Kindergarten, passed away today. He got hopped up on some pills and shot himself.

I feel almost unbelievably shitty at this second. Here's the real kicker, I'm married to his sister. Christy ( my wife, his sister) woke me up this morning at 4 A.M, crying histarically, at the time I could barely understand, all I heard was, John, *tears* dead.

So, ST, I ask of you, how do I help her and myself through this?

Thats horrible, wish you the best of luck. Just dont do what alot of people do in situations like this and dont drink your self to death. Thats how i lost my uncle.

Get on with your life. Seriously, with no sarcasm, there's nothing you can do, so grieving isn't going to do you any good.

just look at it this way, do you think he would want you to spend your entire life depressed or would he want you to live life to the fullest.

Um he didn't pass away...he killed himself one the most selfish things a person can do. Its an aweful thing to go through, this year my Great Uncle Killed himself and 6 weeks later by Mom's brother did the same :(

Dude Com'on hes asking us if we can help him and all i see is hate form bullsh*t comments. I see that every comment that is hate is going to hell....its really fu*ked up to see that people in this world don't care.
