How do I discover new animals such as the beaver and rabbit in the Forestville...

...game on the Iphone? I have expanded around both the beaver and rabbit, and have even seen them walking around before (I can't seem to find them now). I have tapped on both the animals and their houses and it does nothing. How can I discover these animals?

I'm having the same problem. Although I was able to discover the beavers I can't get the rabbits or anything else. I expanded to their houses and tapping on them does nothing. I'm on level 10 I believe and nothing. I have yet to see the rabbit walking around though. How do I get them?
