i upgraded to iOS 4 thinking it would fulfill its advertising, such as faster app switching. now, not only does switching between apps take longer, but one of my favorite apps is not working properly. (it's a reader app, and it's not scrolling.) i've tried the instructions on http://mygadgetnews.com/2010/07/05/how-to-downgrade-iphone-3g-from-ios-4-to-iphone-os-3-1-3/ but recboot will NOT kick my ipod out of recovery mode.
