How do I fix a tangled bike chain?

We just pulled the rear bike tire off to replace the tube. Now the chain is all tangled up and we cannot find the master link. It is a one speed bike. Only a few years old. The chain has a loop in it and we cannot seem to un-loop it. It is not rusted just in case you think that is the reason it won't come out. Kind of like a kink.

my chain is tangled when i threw it on the floor after i had rode it.now it has some sort of a loop in it please help me o fix it i couldn't ride it for 6 weeks!!!!!
