I met an awesome person in the church instantly, i found a new friend. Soon after getting to know her a different side stated coming out. It went from talking about the love of God to yelling and threatening me when I didn't do what she said. How can a friendship recover when you've been totally disrespected by a person that calls their self a Christian and never apologizes of admits to being wrong?

Regardless of the fact that your "friend" is a Christian, she remains, at best, human, and as such, a fallen creature. The friendship may never recover, but we are commanded to love them anyway. Limit your interaction with her, especially in those areas that offend you, and cover her with prayer. I have found comfort in Prov 25:21, and the words of Jesus in Matt 5:44. Hatred is described as "bitterness in our bones", which basically boils down to illness. I have been down that road, and I can tell you it is not worth the effort. As it turns out, God says that as we treat our enemies with respect and love, they become weaker, and we become stronger. So you need to decide who is the stronger of the two, your "friend", or God? Be well.

It is not easy to answer this, but try to think of this. My Dad introduced me to God, Jesus, and the holy spirit. My dad abused me as a child and my youth was spent in orphanages. But i believe in the religion he gave me. And it also made me think, and be able to question it. Most of the religious never question it because it show that they do not believe. So, began to ask question about it. The very first thing I asked over 24 years ago was: Why does God kill? Then i said, "If the good will kill and the evil will kill how are they different? So my answer to you on this hurtful person is follow it but read the bible and learn it meaning, learn what it is saying then make up your own mind. and use love. if i am evil because i am an Atheist, how did i write this?
