I'm in college and last year I was dealt a crushing blow to my educational future and GPA. I felt horrible about it, even though I knew I was doing the best I could do. Sure, I could have done a few things differently like study an extra hour, but considering all that I am, I did my best, and I still couldn't get high enough grades to get where I needed to be. I ended up switching majors and taking off for a year to go to community college to (in a transfer sort of way, start over).
This past year, I've become very apathetic about my educational future. I want to succeed, but I've lost almost all of the enthusiasm. I really hate talking to advisors now because I have to admit I messed up and I'm having trouble figuring out what I should do.
Anyway, the point is, anyone know a good way to pep talk yourself into getting excited about education and wanting to do the absolute best you can?
