I've just bought a laptop from my mate, and it has built in wireless, however, i don't have wireless in my home, and don't particularyly want it.
I have an ethernet cable that i use for my Xbox, to get Xbox live, which is connected to my home computer. Is it possible to just plug that ethernet cable into the laptop, to receive internet? Or is it more complicated?
If that does work, then should the interne work straight away, or do i have to alter some settings. I've tried just plugging it in, and trying to open the internet, but it doesn;t seem to be connected.
What do i have to do? thanks
