How do I get iPhone files off of a backup CD and back onto my phone?

My iPhone had a glitch or something so I took it to the iHospital near me. They had to take off all of my information including contacts, pictures, and applications. They put all of the files on a CD. Now I'm trying to get the files back on my phone--I can see the files on my computer when I put the CD in, but I can't figure out how to put them back on the phone. Help?
 
connect the usb from the computer to the phone
