How do I get Meet and Greets to concerts without paying $$$$$$?

So I've been looking into a few concerts and I've realized that many meet and greets cost thousands of dollars! I think this is ridiculous because if the artist wanted to meet his/her fans they would have a more accessible way... I was just wondering if there were any other way to get meet and greets other than paying a huge sum of cash?? Thanks in advance...

Oh and I already know about radio station giveaways and stuff, but anything else?
 
Go hang out at the venue early. If its a band thats super popular like The Jonas Brothers or whatever, you'll have to pay. But if it is an indie band like All Time Low, you can probably find them after the show.
 
Yeah like James has said. If they're a big hollywood band who just wants to make money, then get out daddy's wallet. But if they're just a small band who doesn't have a whole lot of screaming fans trying to rape them then your best chance might just be to show up early and try to "hang out". And wear something slutty.
