How do I get my converter box to hook to my VCR/DVD combo & TV?

All was well until we had to unhook everything to rearrange. Right now, my Converter Box has the antenna (rabbit ears) in the ANT IN, the coax cable goes from TV OUT on the converter box to the combo's ANT IN (the red and yellow cables also go from the converter box to the combo), then another coax cable goes from the ANT OUT on the combo to the ANT IN on the TV. Nothing appears on the tv at all. The vcr/dvd works on the tv, but as far as getting channels it doesn't work. The remote will turn on/off the converter box, but nothing happens when I push menu or any other button. Are my connections correct? Is there something else I need to do? We haven't had tv in 5 days and just can't figure it out. TIA
