Let me explain my situatuon: I am 17 years old, I reside in Illinois. I went to the DMV and got my permit in August. (8/13/10). So as of today, i've had my permit for a little over 3 months. I never took driver's ed in highschool because of financial reasons, but i drive all the time, with just a permit. I am only allowed to drive to school and drive back home, because I only have a permit. I know that this is wrong, but it is what it is...anyway, really need my L because I am 17, a senior in highschool, and it is not cool to have your parents drop you off and pick u up everywhere you go (especially if there is girls involved) My father is a very negative asshole who always thinks the worst of every situation. He doesnt even know that I drive to school by myself.. He never wants me driving because he knows that i dont have a L, only a Permit. however, he did not teach me how to drive, so thats kinda f***ed up..My mother taught me how to drive because my pops doesnt give a sh*t about that. So my question to you guys is this: How can I get my liscense early so I wont have to hear all kinda sh*t about not having a license? I really need this L, and i know there is some way I can get it before i turn 18, which by the way, is next year...So i'd appreciate it if i cud getcha 2 cents on my situation.. Thanks.
