How do I get my TV into "video mode" to play dvds? I have a sony tv with verizon...

...FIOS and a blue ray player? I have a FIOS remote, a sony remote and a blu ray remote. Does anyone know how to get the dvds playing? Thanks

I would connect the Blu Ray DVD with an HDMI cable to the TV, and with the TV remote, (not the FIOS remote) set the TV input to HDMI.....
