How do I get the internet to bring up uk items in searches rather that US

items? Is there a setting for this? When I use the search engines I keep getting lots of items appearing for other countries and have to be really specific to get what I want. Is there a way of getting UK items to come up first as a default? If so how do I do it.

If you use either Yahoo or Google you can select 'UK 'only on the home page.

I tend to put UK after whatever i am searching for.eg.....rock bands UK
It helps a little.

I'm not sure about other search engines as I tend to use Google for most of my searches. Instead of going to the US google site (http://www.google.com) I always use the UK version (http://www.google.co.uk). The underneath where you type for what you're looking for click on "pages from the UK" and then click the search button.

I think for other search engines you can do the same thing but these options may be under an advance search setting
