how do i get the wifi to work on my easynote mz36 (packard bell)?

it used to work and now it doesn't at all, haven't tried to use it for ages but wanted to use the wifi at my boyfriends and it didn't work! someone mentioned updating my network adaptors... i've been to the packard bell website but they don't have my laptop on there to download drivers for, i really don't want to have to spend much either, please help!
