How do I gets tabs on internet explorer?

Go to preferances. Then click on the tab section, and choose your tab default. If you want to open a new tab, press ctrl and T and it should open up a new tab. (If your using a Mac, which would be very old, press command (apple) T.)
 
I really want tabs, last time I saw it, it has tabs...... But the next day, it disappeared. I need tabs....Please help...
