How do I go about introducing them without freaking him out? Guys help!?

About a month ago I signed up for this dating website. I've been going back and forth with this guy who wants to get together. He is nice looking and all but isn't the type for me. My friend however saw his profile and said he is the guy from the gym she used to go to that used to look at her a lot. She admitted to having a crush on him. How do I go about introducing them both without freaking him out?

Why would it freak him out? It's not like they've dated or something. Besides it's just a strange coincidence, she could probably be wrong after all. You can try telling him in advance like, "Hey, I showed your profile to my friend and like she thinks you looked exactly like someone she knew in the gym she used to go to. I'm going to see her this week, maybe you guys know each other or something." That's it.
