how do i hook up my vcr/dvd recorder to my tv and cable box?

through rca cables, if no rca's in the cable box you will have to run a strait cable to the cable box then rca's to the dvd. super simple.

If there's in "input in" on the dvd/vcr recorder, hook the cable box to that, then to the TV. (that is if you want to record.)
