How do I install the apps I had to my new replacement Ipad?

I bought an ipad last month. It got cracked. I was eligible for a replacement. I took the old Ipad, plugged it in and itunes opened. It said it was syncing and backing up. After that was done I unplugged it and took the cracked one to the apple store and got my replacement. So how do i sync all the old apps to my new ipad?
 
Your new ipad should say connect to itunes on the screen, when you connect it to itunes you can set it as a new ipad or choose the option of the old ipad backup
