How do I learn about trucks?

I'm a girl who is super interested in trucks. I have many guy friends who are completely obsessed with diesels and they talk about them all the time. I am often lost in their conversations because I have no clue what they're saying. Is there anyway I can learn about what they're talking about?

All you can really do is listen in on their conversations. Ask a few quuestions here and there I'm sure they won't mind. Listen to what they say and then research it further on the web to have more knowlege of what they talk about. I learned about trucks and cars by working on them as a kid and reading about them on the internet.
