In 2008 and 2009, i went to a sports event where you have to race against other schools...i HATED it!! We had to sit in the blazing hot weather, and between breaks, we had to run for 6hrs 
There repeating the same event this week. Because i don't want to go, I've made an excuse that my mom doesn't want me to go cause last time i went, i got sun burnt!! (which is true) We have other school trips this week like volleyball, walking around the park doing surveys and it's supposed to be even HOTTER at those places then the sports event :S so my teacher asked me, if i couldn't come to the sports event because i would get sun burnt, then why can i come to the rest of the trips this week which is even warmer?! so i'm stuck and i have no excuse....the truth is, i really didn't want to go to the sports event, that's why i brought up that excuse. If i tell the truth, and say i don't want to go, she'll think i was lying the first time :S huuuhhhh.... :T
please help me come up with something!!
