How do I make my CD-ROM drive DVD-ROM?

My computer driver is to play CD-ROM games. I got Call of Duty 4.
Thats a DVD-ROM, how do i make my disc drive DVD-ROM??
Update?? install a new drive??

yes you'll need a new optical drive. you want to find one that is labeled 'super multi drive' it will handle CDs DVDs; +r, -r, rw, and every other kind of CD or DVD

you will have to install a new drive, I recommend you buy one from www.newegg.com

You need to install a DVD-ROM drive into your computer or save yourself the hassle or cracking open your computer and buying an external one.
