How do i make my snowmobile engine quiet?

im doing a project and i got this snowmobile engine that's really loud as you know i put a car muffler on it and its still pretty loud im not lookin for "you cant hear it at all " just something that's not really loud maybe as loud as a Diesel truck or around there looking for a good deep sound like atv just not as loud so if you kno what would work please tell me i was thinkin of putting like an aftermarket muffler on it ( car)

if it's a two stroke, it's gonna be pretty loud no matter how you look at it. but thats what I would have tried is a car muffler
