How do I make my teacher more interesting?

My teacher (male) is probably the most boring person I have ever known in my entire life. Not only does he speak monotonously, he also has absolutely zero humor sense. The 'jokes' he told were so so lame. And I fell asleep in all his classes. How can I make him more interesting? By playing a prank on him? But I don't want to appear to be rude...

Get your parent or carer to ring the school and personally talk to him and tell him to spice his lessons up! My mother did this and the teacher actually took notice, now I enjoy their lessons much, much more.
