How do I make songs or recordings ringtones?

I thought I could just drag it in to it, but its not working. I also wanted to use recordings of Richtofen saying awsome and weird things but I cant figure that out either. How do I do it? How awsome would it be if I got a text and Richtofen sceamed, NO! THE VOICES! MAKE THEM STOP!! or his other awsome qoutes for ringtones?
