How do I make these girls to stop talking about me behind my back and speading...

...rumors about me? I am 13,in 8th grade.I have never been bullied in my life only a little bit picked on just to piss me off but never serious bullying...My friends keep on saying that these girls in their classes that I am not in are talking about me.Not good stuff....I asked them who they were and I have never heard of these names before.They showed me their faces in the yearbook but I have only seen them..maybe only walking in the halls or on the lunch line.
My friends say they call me a "freak" and a "loser" and that I have no sense in style when they talk about me.
Just today,this girl comes up to my friend and says "That girl talks about you behind your back" which I don't...

I don't wanna change...

I don't find it fair...I am a good girl and I never harmed anyone.But the people who spread stuff about me are the ones who snap at everyone and dress like they are going to perform at a strip club.

How do I make this stop???

P.S-I don't wanna tell my mom or any teacher because my mom will go down their and beat the cr@p out of these girls and get arrested.

girls are always going to be rude, and obnoxious. I understand it because im a girl and I have been there. Dont change yourself you are perfect just the way you are, stick to the friends that dont talk about you behind your back and just be with them there worth your time and effort. Dont let the other ones bug you because thats what is making them continue, show them you're strong enough to ignore them. But honestly you are going to highschool next year you can tough it up champ. If they dont even no who you are then f uck them, not everyone is going to like you, its all about learning how to deal with them, such is life.
