How do I recover all my information from my Iphone 4?

I was on Itunes and a tab poped out and said that their was a new Iphone software (4.2.10) and if i wanted to upgrade it. So I clicked yes and than when it was upgrading my phone it erased everything. My contacts, pictures,notes. The only thing it didn't erase was apps. How do I get all my stuff back?

put a check next to all the things u want back on,or restore from a back up.
