How do I remove my steam avatar?

I want to take off my avatar on steam to have the default one, i don't want to use an avatar, thanks in advance.

this stuff dosnt work for me! it only says that the file is corrupted or not an image...

If it says the image is corrupted or not an image, you have to go to steamcommunity.com (log in) and change your avatar from there. (When you've logged in goto > Edit my Profile and just change your profile picture normally. Problem solved.
