How do I remove the sim card from my motorola rival?

I don't know how to remove the som card from my rival, of course I know how to take off the backing and I can take out the battery but I don't know how to get it out!

Verizon doesn't have SIM cards on their phones. Verizon is a CDMA network, only GSM networks have SIM cards on their phones.
